Code of Conduct

2025-2026 Season

Classes begin on September 15th, 2025. Our First Steps, Group Classes, Pre-Teen, and Apprentice level classes will be held up until their performance at the end of May. Our Company classes will be held up until their performance in June.

Attendance

Regular attendance is essential for progress. Only miss class for valid reasons, and notify Miss Abby and Miss Blythe in advance. Students are responsible for practicing missed material at home using the Band App.

The final two classes before each performance are MANDATORY. For Company Levels, more than two absences after April 1st may result in not performing the full dance.

Pick-up and Drop Off

Please escort students in and out of the studio for safety reasons.

Please arrive on time—warm-ups are essential for safe movement and focus. Late arrivals disrupt class. If you are late, wait at the door until the music stops before entering.

Class Make-up Policy

Holidays and snow days are built into tuition. If more than 2 cancellations are needed for a specific class, a make-up class will be scheduled.

Withdrawals

Notify the studio immediately if a student is no longer attending dance classes at Symmetry. Costume payments are non-refundable. Parents of withdrawn students are responsible for the full costume payment and will receive the costumes.

Studio Expectations
